We’re thrilled to unveil a new feature at Pastel Foundry: the Soft Staking Rewards Program. This is your chance to significantly boost your rewards by staking your PSL tokens!

What is Soft Staking?

Soft Staking allows you to hold your PSL tokens in your wallet, showcasing your commitment to the Pastel Network without needing to lock them away. Unlike traditional staking, which requires locking your tokens for a specified period, Soft Staking offers flexibility — you can keep your tokens in an exchange account or a blockchain node without any restrictions.

By participating in the Pastel Foundry Soft Staking Rewards Program, you simply hold your PSL tokens to earn a proportional share of the prize pool. Your rewards depend on the percentage of PSL tokens you have staked relative to the total amount staked by all participants.

Kickstart your staking journey by participating in the FORGE Pre-Season Soft Staking Challenge, which begins on May 1st and concludes on May 31st midnight (UTC). To get things rolling, we have set up an initial prize pool of 2.5M PSL!

Requirement: Make sure to join the soft staking challenge here before May 1st to be eligible for rewards!

How Does It Work?

Earning Rewards

Rewards are distributed based on the percentage of your staked PSL tokens relative to the total staked amount. The more you stake, the larger your potential reward!

Flexibility

You can add more PSL tokens to your staking amount at any point during the challenge to increase your potential rewards.

Important Reminder

To be eligible for the Soft Staking Rewards Program, participants must join the FORGE Pre-Season Staking Challenge before May 1st. Any decrease in your wallet balance during the staking period will disqualify you from receiving staking rewards, as it indicates an un-staking of your PSL tokens.
