In this guide, we’ll take you through every step to set up your account, import a promo pack, and unlock the full potential of Inference.

Step 1: Get a Promo Pack

To start using Inference, you’ll need to import a promo pack. Here’s how:

Visit https://promo-pack-distributor.pastel.network/.

Sign in with your Google Account.
Once you have signed in, press the Get Promo Pack button.

Download the promo pack and save it securely. You’ll need it to activate features on the Inference platform.

Step 2: Access the Inference Portal

Go to http://inference.pastel.network/.

Press Create New Wallet button, then it will bring you to the Inference interface.

Import your promo pack:

Navigate to the Promo Pack Import section.

Upload the downloaded promo pack file and press Import Pack.

Wait for the confirmation message indicating successful import.

Step 3: Navigate the Dashboard

Once your promo pack is imported, the dashboard opens up a world of possibilities:

Available Models: Explore AI/LLM options like Groq, Mythral, OpenAI, Swiss Army Llama, and Anthropic.
Quick Actions: Ask the model to generate images, text completion, ask it questions about the uploaded image, and so much more!

Step 4: Select and Use a Tool

Choose what kind of request you would like to make.

Choose an AI/LLM tool from the Tools Section:

Groq: Optimized for rapid computation.
OpenAI: Perfect for creative and conversational needs.
Swiss Army Llama: Comprehensive data insights.

Step 5: Upload or Input Data

If your request involves a question about an image, please upload the image. If you’re requesting text completion, be sure to specify what you’d like written.
The Maximum Cost (Credits) is how much you are willing to spend on this single request to the network. In this example we are willing to pay up to 5 credits for this request. Typically it will only use 1–2 credits per request.

Step 6: Run Analysis

Click the Create Inference Request button and wait for the results!

Step 7: Save or Export Results

Once the analysis is complete, save your results for future use:
